An interesting hardwood cane with L shaped handle. The cane is made of 2 pieces of wood, one light colored and second glued together to form a shaft & handle. The 4" ferrule has a gunpowder type firecracker mechanism in itwith spring loaded release, controlled by brass button trigger just below handle on shaft. Nice .5" brass collar. Mechanism still functional. An unusual cane.
