Brown and White American Cotton Kerchief, The Death of General Washington, circa 1800, made in Philadelphia from Amos Doolittle's deathbed engraving, by Pember & Luzarder. It depicts Washington on his deathbed attended by Doctors Craik and Dick, as Martha Washington sits at the foot of his bed. Six cartouches around the scene lavish praise on Washington.
