A circa 1915 Saul Birns "Baby Grand" phonograph, manufactured by Saul Birns, 111 Second Avenue, New York. Plays 78 RPM records. Diminutive baby grand shaped mahogany case with hinged top which opens to reveal turntable, etc. Wooden prop supports top, inside top with original brass manufacturer's plate behind turntable with original "Baby Grand Phonograph" decal on top front of case under hinged lid, crank extends out from right sides of case, case is supported by three cabriole-style legs which terminate in pad-shaped feet. ...[more information available via subscription]
