A 20th century etching by Percival Leonard Rosseau (American, 1859 to 1937), Bill's Covey, circa 1934. An original etching reproduced in "talio-crome" by Brown & Bigelow, pencil titled lower left and signed by the artist lower right, of two English setters on point.

Note: Percival Leonard Rousseau (1859 to 1937) was born in Louisiana and raised in Kentucky. He first won acclaim in 1904 at the Paris Salon Exposition with a painting of Irish wolfhounds, and soon adopted sporting dogs, especially in the field, as his sole subject....[more information available via subscription]
