Bitters Bottle; Simon's Centennial, Washington Bust, Golden Amber, 10 inch.

A Simon's Centennial Bitters figural bottle, probably Lyndeborough Glass Works, Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, 1866 to 1886. In the form of the bust of George Washington, light golden amber with the sleeves and epaulettes in bright golden yellow, sheared mouth and smooth base.

Beautiful color. This exceptional bottle has no collared mouth, being one of those examples that came from the factory, perhaps by a worker, in the unfinished state.
